The competition is international. It’s available for Senior and Master rowers on 5 and 7 rounds and for Junior 15/16 and 17/18 on 4 rounds. Every round consist of 8.650 km. |

The Marathon starts at 10 am and ends up at 17.30 for every rowers. Boats starts in front of the start line at the signal. They go down the Meuse on the right bank, turn at the Atlas bridge to go up the Derivation, turn around the jetty near the Fragnée Bridge to end up at the start line, so 8.650 km to cover 7,5 or 4 times. At the descent, every boats have to keep the starboard side.
Every boat that on the point to be taken over has to move aside to let pass the quicker concurent so that this one doesn’t have to modify his path.

It is forbidden to change one’s place with the Coxwain’s one. To be classified, every competitor have to complete the whole course and to finish within the time. A rower who has left the boat when this one is going on can not take his place back on pain of disqualification.

The starts order and the handicaps board are summarized on the joined board. The only boats mentioned in this board can take part in the competition.

The heavy boats categories (canoë 1X +30kg, canoë 2X+50kg, canoë 3X+70kg, 1X+22kg., 2X+37kg.) and the coxwain will have to weigh at least 20 minutes before their start. The boats that will not be weighed will be automatically consider in the light category corresponding. Boats are weighed emptied of every ballast. A tolerance of 500 grammes will be applied.

Are considered as Masters rowers having been 27 years old at the 1st of Januar 2007. Masters categories are determinde according to the age average. Mixed teams are allowed. Women in mixed teams will be credited with 15 years more than their age for the team age average. According to this age average, mixed teams will be classed as corresponding men teams.

The start signal will be given at the specified time without waiting for latecomers.

Each bow rower wears his boat start number in his back. The numbers have to be taken at the club-house the D-Day from 10.00 in return for a deposit of 10 euros. The registration fees amount to 10 euros for each participants, rowers and coxwain M, W, seniors, veterans and to 6 euros for the juniors. |

The enrolments mention the names, first-names, birthday and licence number from each rower and coxwain, the precise kind of used boat and the name of the society. Enrolment are made by enrolment letter (one every team) regarding the model here below and have to be sent to :

before Monday the 8th of October 2007 at 6 pm. The drawing of lots is made the same day at 7 pm. Double enrolments are not allowed. The withdraws have to be sent to G.BOUVET before Sunday the 14th of October 2007.

Prize : four placings are established : one for the 7 rounds competition, one for the 5 rounds competition, one for the juniors 15/16 and one for the juniors 17/18. A tin board will be given to each participant having finished the competition and a cup to each first boat from every categories, to the first senior boat, to the first women boat, to the first veteran boat et to the first boat from every categories as far there are at least 3 boats taking the start in the category. The hold concurrently of the prizes is not allowed.
